Terms of Service

Last updated August 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of the AfterFeed website and browser extension. By accessing or using AfterFeed, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

01The service

AfterFeed provides personal attention capture and topic-based reflection for posts displayed to you on supported X pages. This may include posts visible because you subscribe to an account. The service is designed to help you reflect on what you chose to read; it is not a backup, archive, surveillance tool, or replacement for X.

02Your account

You sign in to AfterFeed with a Google account, and you are responsible for keeping that account secure and for activity that happens under it. Contact AfterFeed promptly at support@afterfeed.app if you believe your access has been compromised. An account can receive the Pro Trial only once; signing out or deleting captured data does not create new trial eligibility.

03Your authorization and content

By turning feed tracking on, you authorize the extension to detect posts displayed to you on supported X pages, measure how long you actively pay attention to each post, and send data for posts that receive at least ten cumulative seconds of active attention to AfterFeed's backend. AfterFeed uses that data to provide reflection topics and their linked summaries. You are responsible for using the service lawfully and for the content you choose to view.

04Acceptable use

You may not use AfterFeed to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • probe, disrupt, or bypass the service's security or limits;
  • access another person's account or data without permission;
  • introduce malware or interfere with the service; or
  • resell or automate access in a way AfterFeed has not authorized.

05Your data controls

You can turn feed tracking off at any time in the extension; doing so abandons the session in progress and discards its unsynced local data. You can also delete captured data and reflections from the Privacy section of your dashboard. Deleting captured data does not delete your account, cancel billing, or remove transaction records that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons. You can request deletion of your account itself by emailing support@afterfeed.app from the Google account email you sign in with.

06Plans, trials, and billing

AfterFeed has one paid plan: Pro, billed monthly or yearly in USD with any applicable tax included. Each account may use one seven-day Pro Trial without a payment method. Eligible early users may receive a 50% coupon that remains valid while the subscription stays active. Pro can be subject to fair-use and abuse protections.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and is subject to the Refund Policy. A failed renewal makes AfterFeed inactive immediately; a successful retry restores Pro. Existing account and billing data remain available.

07Third-party services and content

AfterFeed works with public content and services provided by X, Google, Supabase, Vercel, DeepSeek, Stripe, and others. Their own terms and policies may apply. AfterFeed does not own third-party posts and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

08AfterFeed intellectual property

AfterFeed and its licensors retain their rights in the service, including its software, design, branding, and original content. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, and non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of it.

09AI-assisted features

AI-generated topics and summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided as recall aids, not as professional, factual, medical, legal, or financial advice. You remain responsible for deciding how to use them.

10Changes, limits, and suspension

AfterFeed may add, change, or remove features as the service evolves. AfterFeed may restrict abusive, unlawful, automated, or excessively costly usage, and may limit or disable features that create security, legal, reliability, or platform-compliance risk.

AfterFeed may suspend or end access when you materially breach these terms or when suspension is reasonably needed to protect users, the service, or a third-party platform. You may stop using AfterFeed at any time. Stopping use or deleting captured data does not itself cancel an active subscription.

11Warranties and liability

AfterFeed is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, AfterFeed is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or use. AfterFeed's total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits rights granted by mandatory consumer law.

12Changes to these terms

AfterFeed may update these terms as the product evolves. Updates appear on this page with a new last-updated date, and continued use of the service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms. For material changes, AfterFeed will give reasonable advance notice — such as by email or an in-product notice — before the updated terms take effect.
