Talk to the Founder

David Guo, founder of AfterFeed

Hi, I’m David. I created AfterFeed.

I used to spend hours a day on X, LinkedIn, and Hacker News — and remember almost nothing of it except the anxiety.

I was a recommendation-algorithm engineer; the job was keeping people on their screens longer. AfterFeed is my opposite bet: same feed, same attention — but you keep what it earns.

I build AfterFeed full time and talk with users every day. Come say hi.

Let’s improve our cognition ROI.

FAQ

How does AfterFeed facilitate recall?

While you scroll, AfterFeed tracks which posts hold your attention. Afterwards, it groups meaningful posts into topics and prompts you to recall each one mentally. You can then reveal a summary with links to the original posts.

What about my privacy?

You control when AfterFeed tracks your feed. Turn Feed tracking off in the extension at any time to remove the posts collected in your current session. To remove all captured attention data, open the Privacy page in the web dashboard and choose Delete attention data.

Do I need to change how I scroll my feed?

No. Use your feed as usual. AfterFeed runs in the background and automatically tracks the posts you pay attention to.

Can I try AfterFeed for free?

Yes. AfterFeed offers a seven-day Pro trial with no card required.

Which platforms does AfterFeed support?

X, today. Reddit, LinkedIn, and Hacker News are planned.
